IT Specialist

We are looking for an IT specialist to maintain, upgrade and manage the software, hardware, and networks of our clients.

Resourcefulness is a necessary skill in this role. You should be able to diagnose and resolve problems quickly. You should also have the patience to communicate with a variety of interdisciplinary teams and users.

Your goal will be to ensure that our technology infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently.


Install and configure software and hardware

Manage network servers and technology tools

Set up accounts and workstations

Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements

Troubleshoot issues and outages

Ensure security through access controls, backups and firewalls

Upgrade systems with new releases and models

Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies

Build technical documentation, manuals, and IT policies


Proven experience doing system administration, network administration or similar role

Experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN), and patch management

Knowledge of system security (e.g. intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery

Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms

Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude

Excellent communication skills

Professional certification (e.g. Microsoft 365 Certification) or Cisco Certified Technician) is a plus

Network Engineer

Primary Job Responsibilities:  Support the Network Engineering Team on ongoing and special projects that introduce network innovation and enhance network functionality.

Work closely with Cynthetic Systems colleagues on the Systems and Help Desk teams to troubleshoot physical network layer issues.

Work with Cynthetic Systems colleagues on the Firewall Team to ensure network access control and encrypt tunneling.

Demonstrate creative thinking

Create and maintain network diagrams, SOPs, and other documentation

Prepare thorough and thoughtful weekly status reports.

Great communication skills while interfacing with clients as well as other contractors on a daily basis..

Experience and Qualifications*: * 2 – 5 + years of network engineering experience

Experience capturing requirements, developing plans in alignment to technical and functional requirements, and managing the testing, integration, and release of enterprise network services

Experience providing networking solutions, including requirements gathering, architecture design, testing, implementation, documentation, and operational support

Advanced knowledge of VoIP networking systems, excellent troubleshooting skills, and knowledge of internet security.

Ability to solve problems by identifying causes, gathering and processing relevant information, and recommending solutions

Advanced LAN/WAN fundamental concepts

Experience supporting VPN fundamental concepts through Cisco ASAs

Sales Development Respresentative

A great Sales Development Representative (SDR) is key to our success in new business sales contact activities positioning Cynthetic Systems to specific business lines. You will be responsible for excelling at the following sales motion activities: initiating prospect relationships via outbound telephone calling, enabling value driven conversations, driving customer/prospect interest throughout the early stages of the sales cycle and partnering with field sales on appropriate sales activities to achieve revenue quota objectives.

Role Responsibilities

Initiate, maintain and master on-going relationships via telephone with each prospect on the basis that each communication provides value to the prospect
Understand prospect’s business and information security environment
Articulate clearly a technical acumen and understanding to each prospect
Intuitively and proactively understand prospect concerns and facilitate escalation to the appropriate Direct Sales team resources
Position and match Cynthetic Systems capabilities to each prospect business driver and challenges
Perceived as a prospect advocate/peer to ensure all potential service objectives will be addressed
and met
Enable a positive sales experience with all prospects
Grow revenues for assigned territory by identifying potential Managed Security Services and Professional Services opportunities

Minimum Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience in a team oriented environment
Minimum of 2 years of experience in direct sales / inside sales / lead generation / agency recruiting / and/or a college graduate with a strong desire for a career in professional sales
Strong ability and awareness to grasp complex, sophisticated solution service sales processes and position effectively to prospects
Ability, passion and desire to conduct outbound telephone activities on an everyday basis
Preferred Skills

Bachelor’s Degree or higher
2 years of experience in phone-based direct sales, inside sales, lead generation, agency recruiting, or recent college graduate with the desire and aptitude for a career in professional sales
